How to hide files and folders on windows.
Sometimes you may need to hide files, folders or any kind of documents. You can find so many software for your computer to hide those files, but most of them are not secure, even you may have to pay for using that software. If you hide it from folders settings it’s not the best way to hide folders or files. Because most people know how to unhide any folders.
So how to hide files and folders?
Don’t worry my friends, In this post, I will let you know how to hide files and folders on your computer without any software. In this article, I will create a folder without any name and icon. It will be invisible and finally, you will hide your files there. So let’s get started. For your better understanding, I have uploaded a video below the post you can watch it.
Create a folder without name and icon
You can see I have some files on my computer desktop, and I will hide those files.
Create a new folder
Right-click on mouse then click new then click folder then hit enter.
Move your files to that folder
Now select all of those files that you want to hide, then cut and paste those files to that new folder.
Rename the folder
Now click on that folder and right on click on your mouse. Then select rename. Now press and hold the “alt” button from your keyboard and at the same time press “0160” from the numeric keypad of your keyboard. Now hit enter. See the magic, now your folder doesn’t have any name.
Make folder invisible
We have successfully removed the folder name now it’s time to hide folder icon. Right-click on your folder click properties then click customize then click change icon. Now scroll right and select the icon without picture then hit enter.
See the magic after hitting enter your folders goes disappear. And only you know where your folder nobody knows that.
